GoBabyGo! leads a global movement for mobility, socialization, and independence. They believe mobility is a basic human right - every child and adult deserves to be able to move independently! FOR FREE!
On June 5, 2018, the Wyndham Garden Dallas hosted our first Go Baby Go event for TEN wonderful families. Then, again, November 5, 2018, we partnered with Go Baby Go to adapt ANOTHER FIVE ride-on cars for more incredible kiddos!
And we want to do MORE next year…but we can’t do it without your donations and support!
Mobility. Socialization. Independence
More than ten years ago at a lab at the University of Delaware, founded by Cole GallowayPh.D.hD, FAPTA, started researching the effects of infant immobility on brain development. Mobility is critical at a young age; it’s how we learn to explore our world independently and socialize with our peers. When children get moving with modified ride-on cars, motor skills, communication, and cognition flourish!
A Global Movement
Through your generous love and support, they've gifted thousands of ride-on cars to kids around the world, each with impactful experiences. Experiences like driving cars down Axalta's red carpet with Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr. at Daytona 500! Or designing cool Philadelphia Eagles football cars with Steven Means, Trey Burton, and Chris Maragos! Even driving in style alongside Ferraris and Lamborghinis with Special Olympics CT at Dream Ride!
"We are artists, dreamers, activists, and believers. We work tirelessly to shatter barriers, create opportunities, and foster hope. And we know that our work isn’t done until every child is driving independently!"
How You Can Help
Go Baby Go builds are fully supported by the community; your generous donation goes towards ride-on cars, adaptive switches, electrical modifications, toolkits, seating materials, custom decorations, and getting our volunteer team to Texas! You can also check out their Amazon Wishlist to purchase materials for the build directly. Every switch, tool, and pool noodle contributed helps to get one step closer to getting the kiddos driving, so please share and support this fundraiser!
To sponsor an entire car with your company/organization at this workshop, donate here.
Sponsors may participate in the build with a team of up to 8 people per car.
Thank you so much for joining the GoBabyGo family! Together, the impact we make on this special day will last a lifetime. Babies, start your engines!
